Our Clients in Durham are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their team, they need someone with a passion for managing and developing Client relationships, ideally within the digital media sector.

Main Duties

• Manage Clients spending up to £50k per project
• Manage the entire project life cycle from business win to Client handover
• Identify opportunities within existing Client's businesses to prospect
• Arrange and attend regular Client meetings
• Identify and pursue opportunities for the sale of additional services to clients, including training, managed tests, branding, white-label versions etc
• Prepare handover documentation to Client following project completion and ensure a successful handover
• Ensure effective use of our CRM system to maintain complete customer records
• Make a meaningful contribution to a vibrant team and business

Skills and Experience required:

For this role, you must be a self-starter, who loves a challenge, is driven to succeed and is perhaps most importantly a team player. Whilst an appreciation of technology and its benefits are important, technical skills, above online aptitude, is not. In fact, it is critical that you can sell to non-technical users and portray the simplicity and benefits of the solutions we offer our Clients.

You will have:

• A proven and demonstrable track record of managing Blue Chip Client relationships.
• Relevant experience developing business from existing Clients.
• Strong process management and communication skills.
• Ability to fit in well to a small team and contribute to the well-being and achievements of colleagues.
• Ability to establish credibility with prospects at all levels within blue-chip organisations.
• Experience within the technology, software or digital industry, or selling to the HR or Training sectors would be an advantage.
