Think and a Drink
Think and a Drink are our bi-monthly member events. Each one has a different focus ensuring you will either learn something new or meet someone new at each and every one. In the past we’ve covered subjects such as User Experience and Talent Gathering; had speakers join us such as James Box of Clearleft, Daniel Pink and Casper Berry and joined forces with other networking groups to educate and develop new fruitful relationships for you and your company
Tender Opportunities
Codeworks Connect offers members the opportunity to tender for local, national and international contracts. Your membership code will allow you access to our tender document section which will be updated weekly with a variety of opportunities for your business. If you would like to join forces with another Codeworks member to pitch for an opportunity, let us know and we will find you the right company. Maybe you aren’t interested in tendering for business? This annual document is used by some of our members as an opportunity to research current procurement in the industry.
Free Job Listings
Jobs in Digital is our portal for jobs in the digital industry and as a member of Codeworks Connect you can post your jobs free of charge. There are three different types of listings; freelance, graduate and full-time. We will happily update you on how many job seekers have viewed your role, whilst all aplications will come direct to your email. Jobs in Digital is highly successful for companies in the North East when trying to hire new talent.
Training
We speak to our members on a regular basis to find out what training requirements they have, we then go and source the best of the best to come to the North East to train our member companies on subjects from Sales and Marketing to Account Management and iOS Design. All of the training we source and run for you is discounted or free of charge. We also run regular business support events for your company such as innovation assessments, funding opportunities, HR advice and accountancy.
Joint Procurement Support
Codeworks Connect currently has over 2’500 members and 215 member organisations. Working together can be very powerful for all sorts of opportunities, in particular joint procurement. Members can log details of items you are looking to purchase with the Connect team. If other member organisations are also considering a similar purchase, Codeworks Connect will discuss with suppliers the opportunity of reducing the cost for a bulk buy.
Press and PR Support
Codeworks Connect has developed an incredible following over the years and is seen as representative of the digital community regionally and nationally. We communicate via a fortnightly newsletter, our various twitter accounts and our blog which can be found on our home-page. We also run a weekly column in the Journal and manage a section of news in B:daily. When you have something to shout about let us know and we will help you shout.
Business Link-up System
Being a member of Codeworks Connect, adds you to the membership showcase. Each membership showcase page is then added in to the business link-up system. Codeworks works hard to drive traffic to our web-site from companies across the UK. Non-members can visit the Codeworks Connect website and search for a supplier based on budgetary and location search criteria. They can then get in touch with you via the website. All of this is managed through your membership area.
